Dragonfly apartments
This is the final version of my dragonfly habitat. Because I live in an apartment, I decided to make an apartment complex for dragonflies. I based the apartments on dragonfly eggs. Since dragonfly eggs are found underwater, I tried to make it appear as if they were underwater. Here are the original photographs used in this project:

Where dragonflies live...
I plan on making an apartment complex based on the dragonfly's natural habitat. Because they live near slow-moving freshwater bodies, such as ponds, I plan on making it near water or underwater. I am also experimenting with using the shape of dragonfly eggs as a part of the apartments.

Final Logos
Here are the final logos for this project.
Word and Image as logo
I made a large diamond behind the word and put the dragonfly from the second assignment inside the diamond. This suggests that the jewelry has something exotic about it instead of just having the name "dragonfly" thrown onto it.
Word as logo
I tried to integrate both jewelry and the dragonfly into this logo by replacing the "o" with a diamond ring and having the dragonfly coming off the tail of the "y" with its own tail.
Letter as logo
This one gave me the most trouble. I put a ring around part of the "D" like how you would put a ring around your finger. The dragonfly comes off the other end of the "D" making it look like the entire letter is the dragonfly, looping around itself.
Image as logo
I used the diamond ring and made dragonfly wings coming out of the diamond, which suggests that it's something more exotic than the usual piece of jewelry.

Intent and roughs
For my logo, I planned on using the dragonfly to promote a brand of jewelry. It should appear to be elegant and a bit exotic, much like the dragonfly itself.
